LOCATION Our holiday home is on a superbly located, premium rated pitch in the Cherry Park area of Devon Cliffs Holiday Park, Exmouth, Devon. This quiet and sought after location provides minimal passing vehicle and pedestrian traffic. There are no homes immediately behind us and very few in front of us which keeps disruptions to a minimum and offers a quieter area to relax away from the hubbub of the main Devon Cliffs complex.
That said the stunning, Blue Flag award winning, sandy beach is close by, as is the South Beach restaurant and its adjoining alcohol, coffee and ice cream bar. The main entertainment, sports and pool facilities, activities, restaurants and shops are a leisurely 6-8 minutes walk.
WILLERBY SKYLINE 2016 - OUR HOLIDAY HOME - Our holiday home boasts signature panoramic front windows which given the home's location provides a 180 degree south facing sea view. The main veranda area to the front gets all day sun (when its out!!)
Our contemporary design holiday home has a large open plan lounge with adjoining kitchen and dining area.
The unique interior layout incorporates a side hallway with a stylish console table and useful full-height storage cupboard, whilst the centrally located family shower room is both large and luxurious.
The master bedroom of our two bedroom home is a prominent feature with a king size bed, vanity area and a feature bay window combining to provide the perfect sanctuary.
The two bedrooms are separated by the main bathroom and en-suite toilet. This degree of separation between the bedrooms provides more privacy and noise reduction than most holiday homes. This was one of the main things that attracted us to this particular home, especially when you consider both bedrooms have televisions too.
With an incredible design and a real sense of space, this home has a unique style and sophistication that will satisfy the most discerning of holiday home users.
Our home benefits from: double glazing, gas central heating, piped not bottled gas, high quality fixtures and fittings, two sets of French doors, free standing furniture, south facing veranda and stunning sea views.
MASTER BEDROOM: Kingsize bed, 32" wall mounted TV, feature bay windows to rear, two full size double door wardrobes, tall drawer unit, additional drawers, cupboards and shelving, bedside wall lamps, bedside tables, cushioned headboard, vanity unit and stool with lights over mirror, storage area and hairdryer.
EN-SUITE: toilet with sink, mirror and cupboard.
BEDROOM 2: Two single beds with fitted headboards, 24" wall mounted TV/DVD player. Wardrobe with double doors and drawers under. Built in alcove shelving, fitted mirror, bedside table.
SHOWER ROOM: Double width shower, toilet and good size sink. Ample storage areas, shelving and cupboards, sun tunnel and extractor fan.
HALLWAY: Carpeted hallway from the bedrooms and bathroom to the kitchen. Console and vanity unit with large mirror and lights over. Large window allows good light when using the mirror.
KITCHEN & DINING AREA: The kitchen is open plan to the lounge and offers a dining area with a table, two chairs and a bench to seat 2. The kitchen provides a 1.5 bowl sink, an integrated microwave, integrated full size dishwasher, integrated fridge freezer and gas oven, hob and extractor hood over which is ventilated to the outside. Double french doors from the kitchen onto the side veranda.
LOUNGE: Clearly one of the features of our beautiful home is the stunning lounge area with 42" wall mounted Freeview TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, electric feature flame effect fire with ambient lighting, L shaped comfortable free standing sofa with footstool, coffee table and entertainment unit.
The incredible panoramic windows and french doors occupy the entire front aspect of our holiday home and even wrap around each corner to provide further views. Not only does this provide 180 degrees sea views but the glass acts like a conservatory, providing additional warmth in the lounge so if its a bit breezy outside you can still have the doors open and enjoy the views and fresh air, whilst sitting in the lounge.
OUTSIDE: The french doors from the lounge open onto the large veranda which wraps around to the side and continues down the length of the holiday home. There is currently a basic set of four chairs and a table outside which we hope to upgrade before our home is let out.
To the rear of our home the veranda is gated and then there are steps up to the allocated parking place for our home.
PLEASE NOTE: There are a number of steps from the parking area, leading down to our holiday home. Due to this we would suggest that our home is not suitable for those with a disability or injury where these steps might prove a concern. This is not only due to the risk of a fall but also the inconvenience of carrying/using walking /mobility aids whilst trying to navigate the steps.
