Making a Booking
To make a booking you can contact us by email at email@example.com.
Once we have agreed the dates you request are available and that your occupancy requirements are acceptable to us; then you are required to pay a booking deposit of £100 within 48 hours by direct bank transfer, unless another method is agreed by us. If you fail to make this payment and fail to contact us with an acceptable explanation then we will assume you do not wish to proceed and no booking will have been made.
If the £100 deposit is paid within the 48 hrs then those dates will be reserved for you and the availability for our holiday home will be updated to reflect this. The £100 booking deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
The balance of the holiday, which is the full amount less the booking deposit paid and also the security deposit, is payable no later than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday, unless specifically agreed otherwise by us. Failure to pay the outstanding balance when it is due will result in the cancellation of your holiday and your booking deposit will not be refunded.
We require you to pay a £150 security deposit in addition to the balance of your holiday.
This will be fully refunded in the event of no theft, no damage and the home, veranda and contents being left in a good, clean, tidy condition. Please remove all belongings, rubbish, food and drink items when you leave. The level of deposit reflects the quality and standard of our holiday home. Any theft, damages or cleaning outside normal expectations will be paid for from the security deposit and then any balance returned to the guest.
Any costs incurred in excess of £150 will be paid for by the guest and will be sought by legal means if necessary. By booking our holiday home you agree to these terms. This applies to damage/theft/cleaning issues caused by you, your guests or visitors be it accidental, malicious, through neglect and including loss.
Guests are required to notify us of any damages during their stay. This will assist us to organise replacement items for subsequent guests, where necessary. Minor breakages such as a glass, mug etc will be charged at our discretion.
It is recommended that you consider taking out holiday/travel insurance to cover your personal belongings, personal money, holiday cancellation/curtailment, personal and public liability etc.
